重温MI系列发现b站没有早年花絮orz

没有原文、没有翻译，所以就自己动手丰衣足食了

搞了三个小时才搞完3分钟片段的我只想说感谢伟大的字幕组，不管是哪一个（。

（播放片头攀岩片段）

The camera pushes in on the cliff, and you see this little speck, which turns out to be Tom Cruise. And you see how vast it is, how big, how tall. There's Tom in the middle-- a little speck in the middle of this cliff. 

镜头推进到悬崖上，你可以看到这里有一个小点，那就是Tom Cruise。你可以看到整个场景有多广阔，多么大、多么高。中间的就是Tom——悬崖中间的一个小点。

The storyboards show a precarious moment where Tom slips. The rock breaks free and he slides, almost falls off the cliff, and then he grabs on with one hand. 

分镜展示了Tom滑下去的危险时刻。岩石崩掉了，他滑了下去，几乎要掉下悬崖之时，他用一只手抓住了岩石。

He’s hanging by one arm for a little while, and then he eventually swings around so that he's facing outward. We call it the "iron cross," 'cause his arm was straight out... in a cross position.

In reality it would be extremely scary, but in the storyboard, you can see he has a smile on his face.  that was John's whole vision here-- that this is nothing to him, even though to the rest of the world it's crazy and dangerous and scary. He's got no ropes. He should be, like, (you know) fearing for his life. But John wanted to treat this as "Oh, this is nothing." This is what he does for recreation. 

在现实中这会非常可怕，但是在分镜中，你可以看到他（Ethan）脸上带着笑容。 这是John在这里要展现的视角——即这对Ethan来说什么都不是，即使这对世界其他人来说疯狂、危险又可怕。他（Ethan）身上没有绳子，他应该担心自己的生命安全。 但是John想展现出Ethan把这当作是“哦，这没什么。” 这只是他（Ethan）的消遣方式而已。

TC：

I've always wanted to climb, and I love climbing. I'm always working with the kids and with Nic. This gives me a good excuse. I get to climb with one of the world's greatest. 

我一直很想攀岩，我也很喜欢攀岩。【本句不翻译】。这给了我一个很好的机会，让我可以和世界上最伟大的攀岩者之一一起攀岩。

We had first brought in a world-class climber-- his name is Ron Kauk-- just to teach Tom some of the moves and things so he could look correct. We thought, at the time, that Ron would be doing a substantial bit of it, but in the end he did nothing. 

最开始，我们请来了一位世界级的攀岩者——他的名字是Ron Kauk——只是为了教Tom一些动作和技巧，让他的动作看起来是对的罢了。当时，我们以为实质性的工作都会交给Ron，但最终他（Ron）什么也没做（因为TC自己做完了hhhh）。

Ron Kauk：

It's amazing how keen he is to go do this stuff and how relaxed he is and trusting.

The scary thing was the cliff was 2000 feet high, and there was no protection on the ground. The shot really scared me, so I was sweating and got panicked. 

可怕的是悬崖有2000英尺高，而地面上却没有保护措施。这个镜头真的吓到了我，所以我不停出汗，十分害怕。

(又换人了…是最开始的人吗？）：

The jump was a long jump. It was about 15 feet. 

这个跳跃是一个长跳跃，大概有15英尺。

Keith Campbell (stuntman for TC)：

（绝大多数时间Keith只是为TC示范动作，再由TC完成）

It was really a weird thing to look at, visually, because your background is 2000 feet away, and you've got this thing sticking out, which matches the background perfectly. Visually it's a tough thing to look at, and a very intimidating stunt to do. 

视觉上来讲，这么看着确实是件很奇怪的事，因为背景有2000英尺远，然后你突出表现的这一片（岩石）又完美地融入背景。从视觉上看，这是一个很难看到的东西，也是一个非常令人生畏的特技。

He likes to do something impossible, you know? 

他喜欢做一些不可能的事情，你知道的。

Keith Campbell：

Yeah I can't say enough things about how impressed I was at his willingness to do this.  'cause it hurts. It hurts. You're jumping down 15 feet onto rock, and it's beatin' up (the bottom of) your feet. And he does it over and over again until he gets the shot perfect. 

(还是在讲那个飞跃的动作）

是啊，他对这类特技的意愿让我印象深刻，真的怎么说都不为过。因为这个动作很疼。很疼。你要从15英尺高的地方跳到岩石上，而岩石会重重地击打着你的脚底。而且，他一遍又一遍地拍摄，直到拍到完美的镜头。

疑似吴宇森：

The shot was so critical. We had to have five cameras on the top of the cliff, and we also had a helicopter camera. And from the helicopter I need to be really close to Tom, so the helicopter is very close to Tom, and you could see the blade on the helicopter. it's very close to Tom's head. You know just like-- (Imitates Rotor Whir). I couldn't bear to watch the monitor. So I was shaking, closed my eyes, keep praying, you know. "God, please keep him safe and help him." kind of thing. 

这个镜头很关键，我们不得不在悬崖顶部安装五个摄像头，除此之外，我们还有一个直升机摄像头。 我在直升机上，需要离Tom非常近，所以直升机离Tom很近，然后你可以看到直升机上的叶片，离Tom的头非常近，你知道的，就是“呜呜呜”那种叶片转的声音。我不忍心看显示器，所以我浑身发抖，闭上眼睛，一直在祈祷。你知道的，就是“上帝啊，请保佑他平安，帮帮他吧” 之类的话。

TC:

I felt very confident with the team and I felt confident I could do it. 

我对我的团队非常有信心，我也相信我可以完成这个特技。

疑似吴宇森：

Tom has no fear. He has no fear, you know. He seems to so much enjoy to do it. 

Tom无所畏惧。他真的完全不怕，你知道的。他看上去非常享受。

TC: 

That was... the most fun that I've had probably on the entire picture. And I had a lot of fun making this movie. 

那大概是我在整部电影的拍摄过程中最有乐趣的一场了，要知道，整部电影的拍摄过程中一直都给我带来了很多乐趣。
